Equinox Software is looking for a Training Services Librarian to join our team. The Training Services Librarian is responsible for delivering training on the Evergreen and Koha integrated library systems to clients. The qualified candidate will be able to identify a client’s training needs and customize course content and training materials accordingly. S/he will engage participants in learning and will communicate with clients throughout the training process. The primary work location is in our office in Duluth, GA, but travel to locations in the US and Canada is required.
We are looking for the following qualities in a candidate: • Flexible, detail-oriented self-starter • Ability to work well under pressure • Commitment to excellent customer service • Knowledge of teaching methods and learning theory • Ability to create digital learning objects and/or deliver training via online applications • Familiarity with public and/or academic library operations and standards • Familiarity with Evergreen and or Koha software and open source culture a plus Summary of essential job functions: • Create and deliver training to clients on the Evergreen and Koha integrated library systems in face to face and online contexts • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers • Meet deadlines for training and other deliverables as assigned Salary starts at $37,500 and is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
