If I had a DVD in hand that needed to be added to the collection, I would first do a control number search of Evergreen to see if the title was already in the database. If it was, I would just add it.
If it wasn't I would go to OCLC and find it there, edit the record, and add my holding symbol to the bib record. Then I would copy the OCLC number, go to Evergreen and import it through Z39.50 by doing a TCN search of both Evergreen and OCLC.
