Thank you very much Kathy and Rogan. The scripts will work for me. My goal is to create a demo database to test my Z3950 client.

Hi Rigoberto,

The scripts Rogan refers to can be found at http://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=server_installation:semi_automated.

Hello,
My name is Rigoberto Rodriguez. I am software developer (unfortunately not for Linux environment) and I develop software for librarians. I developed BibDataZU  Z3950 client. The application is free available to download from my web site at www.bibdata.com. The software is also listed in the software page of The Library of Congress of United States (http://www.loc.gov/z3950/agency/resources/software.html).

I have been trying to install evergreen with no success so far. I have followed the online installation document from Evergreen-ils.org page but always something happened and I do not get the expected results. I am wondering if there is any detailed step by step document available. Any suggestion on what to do to have Evergreen installed will be greatly appreciated. If there is any virtual appliance of the system or an .iso file that I can download and install will be even better.

Thank you,

Rigoberto Rodriguez
BibData.Com founder.
