Hello, I'm a resident in the National Digital Stewardship Residency in Boston helping the State Library of Massachusetts analyze their digital preservation workflows. They are part of a consortium that uses Evergreen, and they also have a DSpace digital repository for their digital content. The staff currently catalogs an item in Evergreen, then has to ingest it separately into DSpace. There's a lot of overlap in the information they need to populate, so lots of copying and pasting between the two systems. I'm wondering if there's a way to create a crosswalk between the two to create a more efficient workflow, or if there is something like this already out there. Is there anyone using Evergreen and DSpace who has considered this, or similar ideas?
Thanks! Stefanie Stefanie Ramsay National Digital Stewardship Resident State Library of Massachusetts
