Nominations (including self-nominations) are due by 11:59 PM EDT on
Friday, 24 March 2017. Nominations should be made by email to
open-ils-...@list.georgialibraries.org with a Cc: to
open-ils-general@list.georgialibraries.org. Replying to all on this
email will also work.

Nominees should send an email to both of the above mailing lists a
statement about their relationship to the Evergreen community and
their goals for the next release. The elected release manager will be
expected to adhere to the established schedule for the release

As was discussed during the Hack-a-way in the fall, the current plan
is for the next release to be 3.0 and mark the beginning of community

The election will be held in the Evergreen IRC channel on freenode.net
during the week of 27 March. Here is a Doodle poll to set a specific
date and time:

Please note that, per yesterday's development meeting, this time
around we are intentionally doing it before the Evergreen Conference
to reduce the lag between the release of 2.12.0 and any any inhibition
about merging to master for lack of a release manager.

Everyone is invited to participate in the voting. Evergreen core
committers who cannot make the meeting may submit their vote via email
to the open-ils-dev mailing list.
