Ben, I just want to be clear, the (Administration -> Workstation -> Stored User Preferences -> Server Workstation Prefs.) does just show you what prefs are set, you cannot edit them there. You could use that info to request that an org unit setting type be created by CW Mars for the preferences you want to control for your org. And then if you have access to changing library settings for your org, you could set the setting for your org.
