We have been using a credit card reader on our self-check from http://cen-tec.com/ I am not sure how large an area they cover, but they have been working with us for many years. They have some great programs. Since the credit card reader is attached to the self-check, we never touch the patrons credit card. We set a lower limit for the bill at $3.00, and the entire fine must be paid, but it is fully integrated with Evergreen. The patron receives a receipt from the card reader with the total amount paid, and it is reflected on the Evergreen account immediately, as if it were paid in cash. They recently installed touch-less screens for us, due to Covid 19. Our patrons love the self checks and the credit card function.
