Olaf, I think this might be a bug in the open-iscsi version that they 
suse took. To avoid the error you can just do

iscsiadm -m node -I iser -o delete

after you have done discovery. This will remove the invalid iser records 
so that on startup you should not see the error below.

Or when you do discovery you can do

iscsiadm -m discovery -t st -p ip -I default

which will force iscsiadm to ignore iser.

The error can be ignored. It just means that we also tried to connect 
using iscsi over infinniband (iser) and that failed (and the failure is 
expected because the target does not support it).
