It looks like it is not a regression, and that the bug was never fully 
fixed. We are hitting the initial login retry check by accident, and the 
fix we thought we did worked for some people because the session got 
connected before the initial login retry timeout.

So just wait a sec for the patch. I need to retest for regressions. I 
should have it out today and pushed in fedora this evening.
