One way to make changes in /etc/scst.conf effective is to run
"/etc/init.d/scst restart". This will invoke the scstadmin tool, which
applies the settings in scst.conf. A sample scst.conf file can be
found in the SCST subversion repository
(scstadmin/examples/scst.conf).
