Hi, I went through the open iscsi source code. From my understanding, the writes seem to be asynchronous. The user space application queues the data in the kernel queue and returns. A kernel thread processes the queue and writes the data to disk.
Is my observation correct ? If so, is there a plan to support synchronous writes ?
