Hi,

I just installed open-iscsi on a Ubuntu-server and everything seems to
work fine. The configuration is ass follow

Initiator :

CPU : L5520 @ 2.27GHz
RAM : 4 GB
NIC : Intel Corporation 82576 Gigabit (FD)
Kernel : 2.6.31-22-server (Ubuntu)
open_iscsi version : 2.0.870.1-0ubuntu12

target :
Infortrend S12E G1133-2
NIC : Gigabit (FD)
8 SAS disks
NO RAID (all individual disks)

I have written a small program to test the performances of all disks
and I get a decent ~95 MBytes/s when writing. However, when reading,
this performance gets down to a poor 0.9-1 MBytes/s !!!

While readin, disks are seen by the kernel as 100% busy. At least,
this is what is shown by 'atop' and 'iostat -xcnd'.

I've also tried to put a '1' in files :

/sys/module/iscsi_tcp/paramters/debug_iscsi_tcp
/sys/module/libiscsi_tcp/paramters/debug_libiscsi_tcp
/sys/module/libiscsi/paramters/debug_libiscsi_*

But I don't see anything in /var/log/messages...

Any idea ?

Daniel
