Andrea, Mike, could you explain in short (or provide a pointer to a
document explaining the windows/vmware DSM need) what wouldn't work well
with Linux initiator when using the dm-multipath driver, such that a DSM
driver is needed? If the target node/cluster has multiple interfaces
(say on multiple IP subnets and/or vlans), the initiator can
discover/login through (say) two of them, and then let dm-multipath
work, is that too naive?
