You can work on whaterver you want.

kernel 1 might be the easiest and help the most people right off the
bat. Since you are new to kernel programming I would probably take that
one first.

They are probably 1 person items. Some of them though like the
blk_iopoll (kernel 5) would require you to work with hw vendors on the
list so they can help test our your changes.
