What would this QR code contain? What would scanning the QR code DO for the user? Who would use this QR code?
QR codes commonly contain URLs, which the 'reader' would then open for the user. ... so in theory it could open a URL like https://plus.codes/7JVW52GR+2V But have to admit it doesn't seem all that useful. Why would anyone scan QR code? If you as a user wanted to find the Plus Code, to use in address, for their business card, or for making an order. The final end user 'using' the Plus Code would have to use it directly - eg by entering it into Google Maps, their navigation software, or database. If they did want to put a QR code, they would do it for a specific purpose, wouldn't really be wanting to forward the final end user to the plus.codes website. Ie the could make a QR code of the whole address, to save end user typing, or a code to their website (that has a contact page, with a repeat of the details) (not trying to demean your idea! Just dont understand it) -- Public site: http://www.openlocationcode.com/ Github project: https://github.com/google/open-location-code Demo site: http://plus.codes/ --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Plus Codes Community Forum" group.
