with
su - postgres -c "createuser -q --createdb --no-createrole --pwprompt openerp"
This command leads to a
/usr/lib/postgresql/8.4/bin/createuser: invalid option -- 'q'"

Also, you could create the openerp user without a password, because Postgres
supports ident authentication.
