Package: openerp-client Version: 5.0.6-3 Severity: wishlist openerp-client supports connecting to the server using XML-RPC over HTTPS, but I only discovered that accidentally. The option is only offered in the menu if python-openssl is installed. Therefore I suggest adding this module to Recommends.
If you disagree, it would be nice to at least add a notice to the connection dialog. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages openerp-client depends on: ii python 2.5.4-9 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-egenix-mxdatetime 3.1.3-2 date and time handling routines fo ii python-glade2 2.16.0-2 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gtk2 2.16.0-2 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge Versions of packages openerp-client recommends: ii epdfview [pdf-viewer] 0.1.7-2 Lightweight pdf viewer based on po ii openoffice.org-writer 1:3.1.1-16 full-featured office productivity ii python-hippocanvas 0.3.0-3+b1 Python bindings to hippo-canvas ii python-matplotlib 0.99.1.2-3 Python based plotting system in a Versions of packages openerp-client suggests: pn openerp-server <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ open-object mailing list open-object@lists.debian-maintainers.org http://lists.debian-maintainers.org/listinfo/open-object
