Thanks Philippe for the confirmation. I was searching for it and looks like
someone has developed an OVAL assessment engine in Java for Android called
OVALDROID.

Hi All,

Before I give this an attempt, has anyone tried compiling OpenSCAP on Android
and iOS before? Do we know if it will be a futile exercise to do so?

Thanks and regards,

Pravin Goyal

Hi Pravin,

I didn't try to compile openscap on Android but it will probably not work out
of the box. The Android libc us not a GNU libc but bionic and most of the
build-depends will be missing :-/
