Attempting to develop a small scanner that will collect syschars not from the machine itself, but from a database that has been populated with the pertinent package information. After running through a bit of the code and utilizing a debugger, i've seemed to narrow it down to libopenscap.so. Is this where the openscap code queries the system itself? And if it is, does it call on a bunch of shell scripts to get the info?
