Hi, Rate is $50/hr Max. An internationally known educational media company is seeking several J2EE Developers for contract opportunities with their solid network of technology professionals. The J2EE Developer is responsible for working on small to medium sized teams specializing in J2EE development. The individual should be knowledgeable and experienced in implementing Servlet, JSP, XML/XSL technologies with a strong understanding of J2EE 1.4 and Java EE 5. The web applications use AJAX methods to deliver an efficient and engaging user experience. Requirements/Skills: B.S. in Computer Science/Information Technology; or B.S.E. in Computer Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of 8 years of experience developing J2EE applications in a structured environment Strong teamwork skills Ability to communicate effectively to different levels of technical and non-technical audiences Ability to mentor less-experienced developers Experience with configuration management systems and concepts (CVS, SVN, ClearCase, SourceSafe, etc.) Thorough knowledge of software design patterns and UML Candidate must be able to pass a Brainbench evaluation with 90% accuracy on score.
