*Job Purpose:  *

Develop and maintain reports, forms, and interfaces in support of the Oracle
11i applications (HR/Payroll and General Ledger) to ensure proper
computerized functionality of all HR, payroll and General Ledger processes
within the organization.

*Primary Working Relationships:  **
*Payroll:  Payroll Manager;  Payroll Supervisor
Human Resources:  HRIS Manager
IT Staff:  Developers, DBA, Network Engineer, Systems Administrators

*Major Responsibilities/Activities **
*Collect requirements from system users, design and develop new or modified
reports, forms, and interfaces in support of HR/Payroll, and General
Ledger.  Ensure proper testing.
Ensure technical problems related to Oracle updates are resolved in a timely
fashion so that systems run smoothly.
In concert with users and IS management, establish priorities and work
sequence for development and maintenance requests.

*Required Qualifications:  **
*Minimum of 3 years' experience in Oracle Application Development
particularly with Oracle development tools (Developer 6i/2000) and PL/SQL in
a Unix environment
Minimum of 5 years' development and support experience in Oracle HRMS and
Payroll Applications version 11i

*Environment**
*Applications:  Oracle HRMS and Payroll, OSB - Version 11i.9
Database:  9i, 10g
Environment:  HP-UX V11.0


*IMPORTANT note form the manager for the Oracle position……..please go
thorugh the same…..*



1.  Development experience in conversions, interfaces, forms, reports,
alerts, and backend development

        a.  What level forms/development tools have you utilized?

         b. Experience with API's - what types of projects have you done
using APIs ? (How would you rate yourself?)

 2.  Former experience with developing reports for Human Resources,
Benefits and Payroll

        a. Module experience: OAB, OSB, core HR applications, Payroll

        b. 3rd party Time and Attendance softwares (Kronos is an example)

        c. experience with Web ADI, System Extract, Templates

        d. Form configuration

        e. Experience with Oracle 11.5.10, (Arch moving toward 12R)

3.  Strong background in Oracle Fast Formula coding and problem solving

4. Experience with Oracle Alerts - periodic and event driver

5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
