*Title* *:* Linux Admin *Requirement* *:* Linux 4 and Solaris 9, NFS, Red Hat Kickstart, Scripting, *Location* *:* Stamford, Connecticut *Duration* *:* 6 months * * * * *Description:* MUST HAVE - Financial exp Qualified candidate must possess: · Demonstrably extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and Solaris 9; experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and Solaris 10 is desirable. · Substantial expertise in NFS, including NFS in a clustered environment. · Automated installations using Red Hat Kickstart; experience with Red Hat Network Satellite is highly desirable. · Scripting in any of the following: bash, perl or python. · Setup, modification and troubleshooting of Samba. · At least basic familiarity with Veritas Cluster Server. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the completion of a sample of written technical documentation. Candidates with the following additional knowledge will be given preference: · Working knowledge of DNS and DHCP. · Basic knowledge of Sybase ASE 12.5. · Basic knowledge of Active Directory; experience with Centrify DirectControl is desirable. All candidates will be asked to complete various tasks on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux system in order to validate claimed abilities.
