*Overview* Immediate need for a Developer with both VB.Net and VB 6 experience for a long term consulting assignment at our direct client in Woodbridge, NJ *Responsibilities* The candidate for this position will fill a front-end developer position on a development team and will work alongside several other highly skilled technologists. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and modifying several applications including a 10-year old complex VB6 based user facing application. · Applications that must be supported are written in VB6 and VB.NET and run on the user's workstation. *Qualifications* 1. VB.NET 2. VB 6.0 Experience: · 5 years working with client server computer systems. · 5 years user facing application development · Troubleshooting · Good communication and documentation · He/she must have a solid background working on a development team dedicated to maintaining a user facing application. · He/she must have a solid background working in a formalized SDLC process.
