BR Serves as the highest level technical expert in systems engineering. Develops standards and guidelines that guide the design of enterprise solutions and architecture. Innovates solutions to processing needs using evolving technologies and engineers an enhanced operating environment. Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues. Work assignments are typically focused on critical products for the organization. Works independently and will likely supervise the work of lower level personnel. BS and 10 + years or equivalent Competencies: 1)Expert knowledge of standards in IT architecture and infrastructure 2)Ability to develop enterprise guidelines and standards 3)Expert knowledge of the software development process and how it fits within the IT architecture and infrastructure 4)Expert knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs 5)Expert knowledge of enterprise platforms and operating systems Works with a long-term perspective in addressing customer problems. Identifies and acts on ways to streamline resources to make things better for the customer. May trade off immediate costs for the sake of the long-term relationship. Seeks to add value and looks for the long-term benefits for the customer. When communicating, uses information from a wide variety of impactful sources for the most clear and complete explanation or solution.Creates high performing and self sustaining cross-functional teams that efficiently use time and resources. Achieves "win-win" solutions even in high conflict situations. Serves as an expert and business advisor to ResCap leaders and customers regarding technology decisions and applications.
