Location: Wilmington DE Rate: $60/hr on C2C
As a RAD application programmer / analyst, you will design, develop, code, test, debug and document programming applications to satisfy requirements of one or more user areas. You will typically provide 24-hour daily production and technical support to assigned systems. You will also provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level. You will work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Additionally, you will researche and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations. Responsibilities: Work closely with business and service delivery team to ensure appropriate business measures are defined Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs per written specifications Examine applications to ensure adherence to Application Engineering guidelines, processes and procedures Utilize multiple programming languages and software technologies to ensure applications are suitably fit for use and admissible for maintenance/upgrades Test, modifie, and implement application codes; make standard modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with high-level specifications, application support and industry standards Evaluate service level issues and suggested enhancements escalated by Service Delivery Team to diagnose and address underlying system problems and inefficiencies Engage third party suppliers on applications support issues Qualifications College degree in related technical or business area, specialized training and/or equivalent work experience Typically requires up to five years of programming / application development work experience Strong teamwork skills Minimum 5 years of RAD programming and application support experience Minimum of 5 years of MS Access Database Development, including Access macro, Access VBA, and reports. Minimum of 5 years of MS Excel / VBA coding Minimum of 2 years financial business experience Minimum of 5 years experience with SQL Server database management and development Web development experience a plus Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel: spreadsheet functions, charts, pivot tables Solid understanding of MS Office suite, including PowerPoint Experience with client / server architecture and deployment of RAD solutions to a geographically decentralized user group Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills Exposure to Oracle / Sybase DB engine in terms of ODBC access Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures Technical Skills 24/7 Customer Support and Service Delivery Model - Proficient Application Development - Proficient Business Analysis - Intermediate Business Applications Knowledge - Intermediate Business Continuity Testing Knowledge - Basic Database Development - Proficient IT Risk Management- Basic Operations Systems and Data Sources Knowledge - Intermediate Technical Problem Resolution - Proficient * * * * Thanks & Regards Anuj ________________________ UROOJ Corporation Unlock Your Potential!
