Position: *Senior Oracle Applications DBA Consultant* Duration: 6 months Location: Silicon valley, CA *Responsibilities:* · Lead and provide DBA support to major ERP/CRM implementations & upgrade projects · Setup and administer database & application servers, backup (using backbone), recovery, monitoring, tuning, etc. · Deploy patches and version upgrades on database/application servers · Support production cutover procedures · Support IT software development lifecycle including maintenance, backup and cloning of multiple development and test environments as well as code deployment procedures for EBS · Plan and implement instance plans, data migration and conversion activities · Willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities Requirements: · B.S. Computer Science or related field · 4+ years database administration experience in Oracle database 9i & 10/11g · 2+ years experience with managing Oracle 11i/R12 applications in a Lead DBA role · Experience on at least one or two Upgrades/ Migration to Linux/ RAC as the Lead DBA · Strong knowledge in database performance tuning · Experience in Multi node setup, load balancing & NetApp storage · Experience with 3 +, full-life cycle Oracle 11i/R12 implementations and upgrades · Experience with Oracle Applications 11i (Implementation, Maintenance, Upgrade), Oracle 10g Application Server administration experience · Experience in SQL, UNIX shell scripts. · Working experience on Linux, Sun Solaris and Shell Scripting · Experience in hardware sizing for an Oracle Apps environment preferable · Experience in Unix Administration/ System Administration preferable Thanks, Suju --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
