Position : Data Modeler Location : Portland,OR Duration : 3 Months Requirement : = Assist team with reviewing Data Definition Language (“DDL”) code to ensure it meets the business and technical defined requirements. = Updating existing DDL code to comply with client defined standards. = Test and implement the DDL using a sub-set of production level data, if available, or test data. This ensures the design is functional and ready to receive production data. = Ensure all DDL scripts are ready for review and deployment to the QA and Production systems. = Assist in the physical design that will be transferred into executable Data Definition Language (“DDL”) code. = They will use Teradata and Industry Best Practices for the physical database design, modeling, and build. *The person should have the following skills: * = Proven experience in Database Modeling with Teradata V2R5 = Extensive knowledge with Teradata SQL Assistant, Fast Export, Fast Load, Multiload, BTEQ. = Experience coding complex scripts for the Teradata utilities and finely tuning the queries to enhance performance."
