Please only send me your best candidate…..For 12 Months + Contract *LOOKING FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES "SOUTHFIELD, MI* ** *Position Summary*** Software Quality Analyst responsible for test planning and functional, integration, regression, and system testing of enhancements to a multi-platform (Unix and Windows) Java application. Testing will require an individual that is an expert in SQL with extensive backend testing experience. This resource must also be used to working in a fast paced environment. *Responsibilities* Software Quality Assurance Analysts are responsible for all aspects of software testing on assigned projects. They create test plans; determine testability of requirements and conformance to documented specifications; create test condition matrices and detailed, positive and negative test cases with 100% requirements coverage; execute test cases, capturing results and anomalies; track anomalies through to resolution, conducting review meetings as needed; facilitate user acceptance testing; create testing results documentation containing key metrics; participate in project status meetings, reporting task progress and effort hours expended; and perform other duties as requested by management. This position does not supervise anyone. *Minimum Qualifications* The successful candidate will demonstrate a minimum of 5 years experience (unless otherwise noted): - Creating detailed test cases, written at a level of detail that a tester unfamiliar with the system could execute - Escalating issues - Executing test plans including back-end testing using SQL - Facilitating defect resolution - Interfacing with development and project management staff - Performing all SQA work on project (2 years minimum experience) - Translating business and functional requirements to a test plan and test cases - Using UNIX command line, vi, etc. (3 years minimum experience) *Desirable Experience* - Creating and modifying automated test scripts - Estimating SQA projects - ETL - Informatica usage - Load Runner usage - Managing projects - Performance testing - Programming, especially Java and C - QTP usage - Test Director/Quality Center - Testing as part of agile software development methods - Testing web services - TOAD usage *Key Competencies* The successful candidate will express the following competencies: - Accountability and responsibility - Analytical thinking - Assertiveness without being argumentative - Flexibility - Process orientation - Professional behavior - Quality and customer focus - Teamwork and dependability - Verbal and written communication skill *Other Requirements* Some after-hours and weekend work is expected, depending on workload. *Working Conditions* Normal office environment Thanks, Srujan --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
