*Location:* Wilmington, DE

*Duration:* 6 months

*F2F INTERVIEW REQUIRED.  CLIENT WILL NOT PAY EXPENSES*

*CANDIDATE MUST STRONG FINANCIAL BACKGROUND, PREFERABLY BANKING*



This is a hybrid role between a Risk Assessor (20%) and Security Engineer
(80%)

There are *TWO* primary functions: Designing controls and validating that
they've been implemented properly.



*Important: *Security control monitoring, reviewing logs & *determining what
is important enough to monitor*, on the application side this person will
determine which alerts are worth putting in place based on monitoring and
making sure the alerts work.



   - *EnVision* is used for Security Information and Event Management *
   (SIEM)*
   - On the engineering side, validating design, review reports and logs and
   validate security controls work
   - *Areas:* *Network (connectivity)* should be strongest; *database
   security* is a strong plus (Oracle 10g), *Infrastructure*
   - Demonstrated analysis, planning, design, engineering and implementation
   experience of appropriate security solutions
   - Ability to design and review network designs for perimeter and internal
   environment
   - *Working knowledge of firewalls* with the ability to properly assess a
   rule base
   - Excellent experience with *networking, routing, Internet Security, and
   Virtual Private Networking*
   - Experience with both *Windows and Linux/UNIX environments*
   - Good experience in handling Information Security matters dealing with
   data privacy
   - Candidate must interpret policies and standards and document project
   security requirements
   - Must be able to *validate the implemented controls* are operating
   effectively (*Windows 40% internal, Unix 60% client facing, THIS IS THE
   KEY*.  If candidate has strong Unix & weak Windows, there team has some
   strong Windows people that can compensate)
   - Candidate must be innovative with excellent communication skills
   - Candidate must have a sense of urgency and be able to work at a fast
   pace on a small, delivery-oriented team
   - Ability to relay technical information to both technical and non
   technical personnel
   - Strong written/verbal communication skills, critical thinking and
   problem solving or troubleshooting skills
   - Create documentation, diagrams and proposals
