Responsibilities: Responsible for development, enhancements and support of applications. Design testing criteria and create written documentation of same. Troubleshoot discrepancies identified during testing. Provide installation packages and recommendations to the release manager for deployment. The selected candidates will develop web pages using classic ASP, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, C# and SQL Server 2000/2005. Candidates will also be responsible DBA related activities, unit testing completed code, participating in code reviews and may be required to perform some activities related to creating interim builds. Candidates will design and construct data extracts for reporting, create reports using the Active Reports tool, debug programs as necessary and help coordinate the migration of releases with other IT projects. Candidates must interact and effectively communicate with business partners and other IT staff. Requirements: BS/BA degree in Computer Science Minimum 3- years experience working on projects in the Transfer Agency space that are designed to support fund managers, private equity, and/or hedge funds. Minimum 8- years experience in full life-cycle application development specializing in Microsoft .Net technologies including ADO.Net, ASP.Net, C# and .NET Framework 2.0-3.5. Minimum 5- years experience performing DBA related tasks including creating/maintaining DTS packages, jobs and administering SQL Server databases. 5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases (2000 and 2005) creating/maintaining stored procedures and views. 5+ years experience with Visual Basic 6.0, classic ASP 3.0 5+ years experience using structured and /or object oriented programming concepts 5+ years experience with Active Reports 3+ years experience with XML, HTML, DHTML, Javascript, and CSS Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self motivated, focused and project oriented.
