REQ#: 12469 CLIENT: Aetna Healthcare LOCATION: Middletown, CT DURATION: budgeted initially through 8/6/10 JOB TITLE: .NET Technical Lead JOB DESCRIPTION: * Supports Delivery Life Cycle including maintenance * Leads or acts as chief technical contributor to translation of business requirements to technical specifications * Responsible for Code Asset Management for an application or applications * Application development lead on various projects supporting different initiatives * Must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis design and programming activities * Lead and/or participate in major developmental efforts to build a high volume and mission critical internet application * Effectively analyze business requirements and conduct system design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance * Work closely with project and development teams to ensure goals of the project are being met * Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced programmer/analysts * Ability to oversee diverse assignments and juggle multiple priorities * Able to work in a fast paced work environment * Provide production support for the application * Experience working with and managing Vendor staff in multiple locations * Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives * Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written * Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs * Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities * Provides technical leadership on complex projects * May act as expert in business applications and/or cross functional areas * Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced Programmer / Analysts REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: * Strong technical skills in the following: Microsoft .NET Platform including ASP .NET, C#, XML, .NET Web Services and MQ Series * Experience with OO methodologies including VB.Net 2.0, .NET using C#, WCF, Visual Studio 2005, XSL and ADO.Net is preferred * Strong skills in SQL Server 2005 with SSIS and Stored Procedures (DB2/390 experience and Nunit is preferred) * Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure like COM+ and IIS Servers, ClearCase, Rational Suite * Past experience in High Availability Internet applications is required * Ability to multi-task, seamlessly shift priorities, work under time constraints and resolve detailed issues without losing sight of the big picture * Effectively document or verbally communicate technical issues and ideas in a clear, concise, and accurate manner that is understood by the target audience * Demonstrate solid analytical skills and OO design skills * Effectively leverage existing technologies while anticipating and planning for the potential benefits of newer technologies ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: * Analyze Requirements Realization (Mastery) * Build Software (Mastery) * Code and-or reuse existing code through the use of program development software and-or integrates purchased solutions (Advanced) * Create Low-Level Application Design (Advanced) * Deliver Code for Application Testing (Mastery) * Developing Software Solutions (Advanced) Thanks Sam Dutt 301 933 9711. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
