Data Warehouse Tester will work on Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) projects in support of FAS140/FIN46 initiative. As Test Engineer the DW tester need Datastage, Unix and Mainframe skills and well versed with test management tools like Quality center, QTP and defect management tools Clear Quest. Location : VA Duration : 3+ months DW tester will be responsible for: -- -- Design, implement, execute, and evaluate a wide range of system, integration, E2E tests and to ensure that software, systems, and services meet minimum company standards against defined functional and nonfunctional requirements. -- Develop regression test suite and corresponding test data sets as well as other SDLC deliverables. -- Support TEST environment setup and maintenance as required in support of Project testing -- Responsible for testing artifacts (like Test Strategy, Test Plan, RTM etc) as per the methodology and coordinate testing activities with cross functional teams. -- Automate testing processes and build tools to facilitate data validation tests. skill: Mid-level (3-7 yrs) skills: As Test Engineer the DW tester will be responsible for: -- Design, implement, execute, and evaluate a wide range of system, integration, E2E tests and to ensure that software, systems, and services meet minimum company standards against defined functional and nonfunctional requirements. -- Develop regression test suite and corresponding test data sets as well as other SDLC deliverables. -- Support BCP execution as well as E2E executions in TEST environment, BCP environment and any other source system integration environments where testing is required. -- Support TEST environment setup and maintenance as required in support of Project testing -- Design SDLC testing artifacts (like Test Strategy, Test Plan, RTM etc) as per the methodology and coordinate testing activities with cross functional teams. -- Well versed with test management tools like Quality center, QTP and defect management tools Clear Quest. -- Automate testing processes and build tools to facilitate data validation tests. -- Regards Alrek Business Solutions, Inc.
