Description:
We have a new job opportunity in the Dallas / Fort Worth, TX area. We are
looking for a strong Flex / Java Developer for a 3 month contract (could go
up to 1 year) for our client. The candidate must pass a technical screening
on Java and Flex development before sent to the client. The client would
prefer local candidates or TX candidates only
Java / Flex Developer
East Fort Worth, TX (Prefer local candidates as we have Phone screen then
F2F)
Interviews to start week of 14th
3 month contract possibly 1 yr
Project Information:
Odyssey - revenue management (yield management).
This project is to maintain front end.
There are 140 enhancements to be completed. Mostly on front end.
Technologies & Tools:
Java, J2EE; Spring - Transactions; DB connectivity; Websphere 6.1; Tomcat;
SQL some PL-SQL; MQ+; JUnit; Adobe Flex- LiveCycle Data Services, Cairngorm
Framework; Subversion; JIRA bug tracker; Eclipse FlexBuilder; Linux; RPC;
Ant
Backend batch system:
Tivoli Scheduler; C, C++; Moving to Java/RMI; May be Webservices later;
Development Methodology:
2 to 3 week deployments.
Team Dynamics:
Personality: Diverse, Heads down ok; Easy going, good communicator
Skills Needed:
Flex; Java; J2EE; Spring; SQL; Ant; MQ+; Eclipse or Flex Builder; Basic
UNIX; UNIX Scripting;
