Involved in transformation of OLTP data to the Data Warehouse using DTS and SQLcommands. · Experience in installation, upgrade and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server and databases. · Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration including planning, backup, and recovery strategies. · Develop data warehouses, including requirements gathering, data analysis and cleaning, then building and deploying packages using SSIS and VB.NET <http://vb.net/>, creating cubes in SSAS and dashboard and other parameterized reports in SSRS, ProClarity and Performance Point 2007. · Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Database consistency checks using DBCC utilities. · Experience in failover clustering. · Experience in implementing Disaster Recovery for minimal downtime using different types of database backups, restore, and replication. · Experience in implementing log shipping and mirroring. · Extensively used tools like SQL Profiler, Index Tuning Wizard, and Database Engine tuning wizard, Windows Performance Monitor for monitoring and tuning MS SQL Server performance. · Experience in creating Jobs, Alerts, SQL Mail Agent, and schedule DTS/SSIS Packages. · Extensive experience in database tuning, server logins and database permissions. · Expert in designing Star Schema and snowflake schema with Facts, Dimensions, Measures and Cubes · Experience in designing, creating, processing and partitioning of cubes using SSAS. · Expert in calculating measures and dimension members using multi dimensional expression (MDX), mathematical formulas, and user-defined functions. · Good experience in Designing Aggregations and pre-calculating the same in SSAS 2005. · Excellent hands on experience in creating groups and measures, KPIs. · Expertise in generating reports using MS Reporting Services 2008/2005/2000. · Experience in configuration of report server and report manager scheduling, give permissions to different level of users in SQL ServerReporting Services ( SSRS). · Experience in generating on-demand and scheduled reports for business analysis or management decision using SQL Server Reporting Services.. · Experience in Dundas charts. · Experience in Dimensional Modeling. · Experience working with XML documents. · Excellent hands on experience scheduling and the deployment of the reports and uploading files to a report server catalog from the report manger. · Excellent command on subscriptions, report snapshot and report cache. · Worked extensively on system analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of projects (Complete SDLC) and capable of handling responsibilities independently as well as a proactive team · Some experience in DB2 queries. · Experience in .NET coding. · Good skills in MSACESS. · Worked on development/staging/production environments and used Team foundation server/visual source safe for version controls and communication’s well as defining Actions, translations and perspectives. · Good skills with computer science concepts and programming. · Very good communication skills, good interpersonal skills & desire to excel, fast learner, hardworking and a versatile team player.
