Please provide the following Details along with your .doc RESUME. ** * * *Job Title : Sharepoint consultant* *Location : Detroit, MI* *Duration :** 1 month with the possibility of extension* *Rate : Open* *Job Description:* Client has numerous Excel spreadsheets containing dashboard information. The information is collected locally at plant sites and delivered to a central office where it is manually complied. There are about 10 people involved in collecting and the compiling information. Security to edit information is based on controlled access to individual spreadsheets however the results are consumed by many. Client desires to improve their methods for data collection and distribution of scorecard information. A SharePoint dashboard format is the desired approach to delivering user metrics. The project focuses on creating a Client showcase approach based on SharePoint and related technology. 2. Project: Execute a three week project to identify improved methods for collecting, compiling, reviewing and accessing information. 3. Clarifications . For planning purposes, input is assumed to be based on the spreadsheets in use today. . Business users are available for planning sessions . Recommendations to improve the data collection process will be included in the final presentation but detailed analysis of the systems and data source automation will be part of Phase II 4. Deliverables 1. Review the project approach, timeline, assumptions and deliverables with 3-6 clientSME's. Conduct a two day requirements gathering session which will include a 2-3 hour tutorial on SharePoint advanced features and capabilities. The client requirements team will refine deliverables at the conclusion of the 2 day requirements session to as to better address priority items. 2. Define a method to input data using existing Excel spreadsheets, InfoPath, ASP.Net or other appropriate technology. The method will be based on content currently collected in the reference spreadsheets. 3. Create a SQL database as a repository for scorecard metric content. Excel may be used as an alternative based on results of the requirements sessions. Mock-up only - data capture will not be all inclusive for this phase 4. Create a SharePoint site that displays graphical dashboard information derived from SQL Reporting Services. Users will access to this information via the client Scorecard Portal created in item #5 5. Create a client Scorecard Portal mockup. Will provide client with several styling concepts for the portal. This is the "home" page for scorecard metrics and users will hit this site to navigate to specific dashboards. (See item #4) This site will not be operational. 6. Present the project results from scorecard data collection, to compilation and user access in "A day in the life" of a client scorecard user format. 7. Using Microsoft preview documentation describe how SharePoint 2010 could enhance the client scorecard further with improved metrics, summaries and drill down capabilities. NOTE: This function cannot be presented until Microsoft announces certain SharePoint 2010 features.
