This will be about a 3-5 month project. Software engineering consultant needed to integrate check scanner in .Net 1.1 for electronic payment processing system. · 5+ years C#.Net · 5+ years ASP.Net · 5+ years SQL Server 2000/2005 · 5+ years XML · 6+ months of COM/ActiveX · 6+ months experience with check scanner integration (Panini, Unisys, RDM, Epson) · 4+ years working in .Net 1.1 · 2+ years working in .Net 2.0 or higher · 5+ years OOA, OOD, OOP · 5+ years with Visual Source Safe *The application:* from a URL the user access the check payment systems. Scan’s a check through a scanner which takes an image of the front and back of the check and electronically deposit funds from reading the check information. The application already has several manufactures’ scanners, now they are adding capability for more scanners. Must have written the application that integrates new scanning hardware. Each manufacturer will have their own API. Will need to accept the manufactures API and work with their specific instructions.
