Title -- .Net Developer Duration - 6+m Location - Boca Raton FL Designs, develops, maintains and enhances a global, multi-tiered business application. Individuals holding this position will be asked to work independently, or lead others on a project team, as assigned. Incumbents will be asked to leverage their skills in developing the application’s integration points with a diverse set of existing systems; quality, functionality and performance will be in high demand. The applicant must have a thorough understanding of the available technology, tools and existing designs. They will be asked to collaborate with business staff, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to evaluate defined complex business requirements and processes, determine infrastructure and recommend solution options.
Requirements: - 8+ years of in-depth experience in object oriented business application design and development - 6+ years solid .NET development using C# - Experience with web-based applications - 8+ years of development experience on Microsoft Windows platform - 5+ years with SQL Server - ADO.NET, XML, COM, solid object oriented design and programming, and UML - 7+ years of experience using UML - Experience with SCRUM methodologies - ASP.Net 2.0, ASP.Net 3.5 SQL Server 2005 - Strong front end development skills (Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS) - Web Services, XML, SOAP - SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) - Strong understanding of Asp.Net MVC Framework and Subversion Experience working with Third Party API's - Strong understanding of Design Patterns and Object Oriented Programming - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high traffic environment - Define technical and coding standards. - Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to the IT development and infrastructure teams. - Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities. - Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility. - Where applicable, design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems. - Review new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans. - Confer with end-users, clients, or management to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development. - Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models. - Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement. - Develop and manage a systems capacity plan. - Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a policy for standardizing systems and software as necessary. - Provide guidance/mentoring to junior members of the team.
