Job Details – 6 months in duration *Work Location:* 4 Irving Pl Headquarters - 4 Irving Place Senior software developer with knowledge of .NET development and BizTalk Server. As a senior member of the development team, the candidate learns and works on existing systems, performs development on new and very complex applications, and may have the opportunity to lead and junior developers. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience, and should have worked in team environments on multiple systems that have moved to production. Application development experience with the following: C# and VB.NET Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and later Visual Studio (2003, 2005 or 2008) Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Oracle Database (desired, but not required) Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 Understanding of the following: Application debugging Application performance analysis Source control usage and concepts XML, XSD, schema development, Xpath BizTalk maps, orchestrations, pipeline components BizTalk SQL, Oracle and DB2 adapters Previous experience as a senior developer (desired, but not required) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills, including time management Ability to take direction and work in a structured environment *Additional Skills* (Skills that are a plus, but not required) Mainframe (IMS, CICS, DB2, VSAM), Oracle *Assignment* Perform development using the .NET Framework and/or BizTalk Server. Perform database development using SQL Server and/or Oracle Database. Potentially lead a team of developers. Learn the architecture of existing and new systems; perform development tasks.
