* Essential Skills *
• B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a
related discipline.
*• 8+ years of experience* in design and build of
enterprise-scale and high-volume Oracle 10G/11G/Exadata data processing
applications using packages, procedures, triggers, *PL/SQL*, Java Stored
Procedures.
*• 5+ years of experience* in design and build of
enterprise-scale and high-volume *Sybase data processing applications*
using packages, procedures, triggers, *SQL/T-SQL*, Java Stored Procedures.
• Hands-on performance *tuning experience on Oracle and Sybase
SQL and PL/SQL codes*. Hands-on experience of applying *advanced data
processing* concepts including *indexing, pipelining, partitioning and *
*Bulk processing.*
*• Certification in Sybase and/or Oracle DBMS* • Experience in *Core
Java* and *Java - RDBMS* data access and integration are highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi tasking. Strong sense
of urgency and initiative to take ownership of issues, resolve problems and
propose solutions and re-engineering improvements.
• Ability to work with geographically distributed and culturally
diverse development organization.
