Position Summary: This is a Support role. The person will have to have experience in Supporting Informatica DW as well as Hadoop clusters/ environment. Developers may work, but they must have support background and inclination to be in Support. Must be strong technically in Informatica, Oracle SQL coding. Ideally should be from support background. Some experience with managing offshore teams would help Required:- Data warehousing with Hadoop consists of three things:- Map reduce – needs a lot of Java knowledge and experience Pig – similar to Shell Scripting Hive – similar to SQLs hive and hbase; Hadoop to oracle / oralce to Hadoop (how to transfer data) Hadoop support consists of debugging the scripts in the above and supporting the Data load jobs.
