Title: ETL Consultant

Rate: 45/hour

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 3–6 months



Qualifications

·        Fluent in both relational and dimensional data modeling concepts:
data modeling strategies, normalization, index efficiency analysis,
drawbacks and inappropriate uses of various modeling techniques

·        Strong Oracle skills are a must; Strong ETL (Informatica)
experience is required

·        Strong Business Intelligence (Business Objects) experience is
required. Candidate should be well versed in universe/metadata design, how &
when to integrate at the API-level, and effective use of delivery platforms
like WEBI

·        At least 4 years of current experience with Business Objects
Designer & Reporter, Informatica Designer, Workflow Manager & Workflow
Monitor

·        At least 4 years of experience with Oracle RDBMS 9i or higher

·        At least 4 years in Data-modeling

·        Highly proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming

·        Highly proficient in Unix shell scripting, Toad/SQL Navigator,
Erwin

·        Some securities industry experience



*Preferred Skills:*

·        Familiarity with XML and XSLT and Weblogic is a plus.

·        Experience with WEBI SDK (Business Objects API) a big plus

·        Knowledge of design patterns, UML modeling, best practices;
Familiarity with NT and Solaris

·        Structured Finance, fixed income, credit derivatives background

·        Exposure to Business Objects XIR2, SDK and/or WebI SDK

·        Experience with Informatica Repository Manager

·        Experience in Consuming and Publishing Webservices in Informatica
