Job Title : Network Engineer Location : St Louis County, Missouri Duration : 12-24 months Contract Interview : Phone & Skype Job Description: This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing network infrastructure and application components. A Network Engineer performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user satisfaction. A Network Engineer also provides direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Six to ten years of relevant IT work experience. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Voice Professional (CCVP), or Wireless (CCNP Wireless), or Network Security (CCSP) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university. CCNP, or CCVP, or CCNP Wireless, or CCSP AND the Design Professional (CCDP) Certifications. Knowledge of Cisco SRND/SAFE and industry best practices. Knowledge of Linux/Unix and other open source software to include BIND and Nessus.
