In addition to working with the database, there will be a high degree of interaction with multiple internal customers and consumers of report data. The candidate will be required to understand and prioritize appropriately the report requests based on business needs. Requirements: · Commanding knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 technology including Transact-SQL, SSIS, and Reporting Services. · Developing new T-SQL queries and stored procedures. · Creating and formatting reports to Excel and other file types. · Researching data and generating reports for managers by manually producing a standard set of scheduled reports Automating the reporting process wherever possible using SQL Server Reporting Services · 3 plus years work related experience is required. · Strong understanding of Microsoft products and networking required. Strong problem resolution, decision making and analytical skills required. Good leadership skills along with project management and customer service skills required · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. · Solid skills developing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports in Microsoft SQL Server. Ability to interpret logical and physical database diagrams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2007 (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 · Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003+.
