Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Sr. QA Automation* *Atlanta, GA (Locals)* *12 Months* *Phone and F2F* *Job Summary:* NS is offering the opportunity to join the team responsible for ensuring the quality of the corporation’s most highly visible and important projects. This position requires a professional who will be involved throughout the testing life cycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating the functionality of the software produced by the development team, reporting test status and ensuring the successful release of the final product. The ability to interact with developers, management, and business partners is required. Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining automation test scripts to test the functionality of the software. *Responsibilities:* - Lead the QA testing efforts for projects during the development and implementation phases - Independently create, execute and maintain comprehensive automation scripts using HP UFT - Apply structured testing methodology and strategies - Ensure the quality of requirements and design specifications - Develop test cases to cover requirements - Create comprehensive test cases/scripts that are in accordance with business and technical specifications - Perform test case reviews with Business Analysts and Development Team - Assist with test data identification - Plan and schedule test activities to ensure functional, system, integration, and technical specifications - Develop and apply load testing standards to ensure the ability of an application to meet nonfunctional requirements - Create defect tickets and track issues to resolution - Communicate test results, issues, and risks to project team members, project managers and IT management *Required Skills and Experience:* - HP UFT experience must include: o Use of parameters instead of static text o Data capture from the AUT including dynamic data/screen capture o Expertise in handling code logic for unexpected conditions, process flow variations and expected error conditions - 5+ years QA experience testing web-based and/or client/server products including: o Excellent test planning and organizational skills o Experience in defect tracking o Experience with essential SQL scripting o Familiarity with corporate/enterprise level relational databases o Experience in HP UFT scripting o Experience in scripting API or service layer calls - 5+ years of experience in writing test cases from requirements in HP ALM - Strong Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills - Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment - Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently - College Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering *Preferred Skills:* - 2+ years QA experience testing mainframe and/or web-based applications - Transportation and Logistics experience - Ability to facilitate large meetings with all management levels in attendance - Excellent leadership and people skills - Mobile application testing *Thanks and Regards,* *Shilpi Bisht* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *IDC Technologies* *1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116|Milpitas, CA , USA, 95035* *408-459-1965 [Direct] I shilpi.bi...@idctechnologies.com <shilpi.bi...@idctechnologies.com>* *www.idctechnologies.com* <http://www.idctechnologies.com> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
