Position: *BaaN consultant* Location: *Dallas**, TX*** Duration: *12 Months* Rate:* $50-$55/hr* all inclusive on C2C** *Job Description:* *We are looking for 2 of them, one with more on Job costing experience and the other more on Sourcing and AP experience in BaaN.* Strong *Baan Consultant* with the following: - Education: Four (4) year degree or equivalent - Experience: 5 – 7 yrs - At least 6 years progressive experience as a Functional Analyst implementing Business applications. - *Baan ERP* (Version V) application experience. Oracle projects experience a plus. - 3 – 5 years experience working with Business areas: Projects, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Financials. - Experience in implementing the following processes using applications such as: 1. *Baan* Large Projects *2. **Baan Purchasing* 3. *Baan* experience with *job costing*. *Duties and Responsibilities:* 1. Apply high-level understanding of the organization's business systems and industry requirements. 2. Serve as a liaison between the business and IT to create and document solution designs, focusing on process analysis and re-engineering with an understanding of technical problems and solutions related to current and future business environments. 3. Assist with daily operations and provide general administrative support to the assigned IT organization. Prepare charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submit recommendations for solutions. 4. Create process change by integrating new processes with existing processes and communicate the changes to the Business Systems team impacted. 5. As appropriate, may participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT strategies and plans. 6. Manage, coordinate, direct, and integrate the company's IT processes, services, and applications for the purpose IT business delivery. 7. Responsible for working closely with support teams to ensure the design, implementation, and administration of the company's IT initiatives. 8. Propose and implement effective solutions based on business requirements while analyzing and evaluating the impact of current processes/business. 9. Partner with technical solution providers to ensure optimal delivery. 1. Performs other duties as assigned.
