Ability to quickly trouble shoot customer problems and offer solutions. - Firm understanding of Database/Warehouse concepts to work on Performance tuning & troubleshooting. Able to handle day to day activities/issues like access, server performance in database/warehouse areas. - Good understanding in Installation Planning/Configuration/Migration of Netezza appliances. - Knowledge of leading-edge technologies, new methodologies, and best practices applicable to work performed. *Roles & Responsibilities* - Collaborate with various development groups across AIG to execute standard software development activities including design, development, implementation, test, documentation, and support using standard established software engineering principles. - Manage the multiple work streams our Big Data Team juggles on a daily basis. - Develop techniques to analyze, enhance, and implement structured and unstructured data. - Operationalize data science models. - Performance tuning. - Coordinate with other groups/units to perform all capacity planning activities in facility.
