Role: Manual QA Tester

Location: Washington DC

Rate: $30

Interview Mode: Phone/Skype

Duration: 6 Months


Position Specifications:

•                    Analyze requirements and write manual Test Scenarios.

•                    Identify, analyze, and document issues with
application's functionality, output, user

•                    interfaces, or content.

•                    Write and execute SQL queries to QC data layer or to
identify data of interest to drive UI

•                    Testing scenarios.

•                    Provide accurate and timely logging of issues to the
bug logging system.

•                    Accurately report findings to the Lead and Manager for
all the assigned tasks.

•                    Interact with internal users to obtain and convey
concise problem information in a

•                    professional manner by phone, email, and in person.

Skills Required:

•                    Proven experience mobile and manual software testing
in a functional QA team

•                    performing White Box testing of Web Applications in
GUI and Data Layer.

•                    Ability to independently analyze requirements and to
write manual Test Cases to test them.

•                    Knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL scripting to
perform accurate testing of

•                    Data Integrity and Data Transport means.

•                    Strong understanding of Client - Server communications
in a Web Applications/HTTP context.

•                    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

•                    Able to prioritize multiple workloads and deliver
timely results.

•                    Ability to work in a team setting.

•                    Superior attention to details.

•                    Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills
and a logic-based approach to problem solving.
