*Job Summary:*
The Analyst Sr., Systems IT is directly involved in conducting analysis,
creating technical/functional specs, configuration, testing and
implementation of new and existing systems in the Quality space. This role
will provide expertise that is critical in assisting with the
identification of opportunities for the effective use of technology and the
implementation of IT solutions.

*Responsibilities:*

·         Establishes technology standards for development and maintenance
of new and existing systems, makes recommendations for improvement.

·         Collaborates with internal customers to ensure user requirements
are complete and concise, confirming that changes and enhancements meet
technical specifications and user requirements.

·         May interact with the business to elicit, analyze and document
detailed business requirements.

·         Performs business process analysis to define configuration
requirements.

·         Transforms business requirements into technical documentation
including detailed design specifications to describe program development,
logic coding and corrections.

·         Performs a variety of tasks to review, analyze and modify
business application systems including configuration, testing, debugging
and implementation.

·         Makes appropriate recommendations for continuing, modifying, or
abandoning proposed projects based on the results of feasibility studies
and/or cost/benefit analyses.

·         Maps current processes to the desired state and identifies gaps
such as program functions, output requirements, input requirements and
sources, data conversion strategies, and system techniques and controls.

·         Provides solid test designs, develops test cases and
reviews/approves the execution of those test cases.

·         Develops business process flows and data models for new system
development or for process redesign.

·         Contributes to end-user training as needed.

·         Provides support to existing applications and resolves business
and technical problems

·         Keeps informed of trends and new developments in technology to
better advise management of means to accomplish business and information
systems goals.

·         Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and
in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management
Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements

·         Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating
procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and
cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees,
customers, contractors, and vendors.

·         Support business leaders with global responsibility (i.e.,
leaders with employees residing in countries around the world), access and
utilize HR information systems and data to run reports and validate,
analyze, and utilize global employee data

·         Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion,
as assigned.
Equipment: List the type of equipment the incumbent will utilize in this
position.
Works with standard office equipment such as telephone, cellular phone,
fax/copier, and a personal computer with standard office software.



*Required Skills:*

·         5+ years of Quality Process Support experience in a manufacturing
environment including interfacing with SAP QM.

·         5+ years of SQL experience to include; scripting, report writing,
statement diagnosis, etc. All on the application side. This is not a SQL
DBA skill set

·         Experience in working with Supplier Management, Supplier Quality,
Patient Device Tracking, Corrective and Preventive (CAPA), and Complaint
Handling processes and applications.

·         5 years of experience in a senior technical role with application
configuration experience and 5 years of experience translating business
requirements into technical designs i.e. Systems Analyst experience.



*General Qualifications:*

·         The position would be located in the Pleasanton, CA area for
18-24 months and then relocate back to Sylmar, CA or Plymouth, MN.

·         Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent year’s
experience.

·         5+ years of SQL experience to include; scripting, report writing,
statement diagnosis

·         5 years of experience in a senior technical role with application
configuration experience.

·         5 years of experience translating business requirements into
technical designs i.e. Systems Analyst experience.

·         Five to Seven Years of Quality Process Support experience in a
manufacturing environment including interfacing with an ERP Application –
SAP Preferred

·         Experience in working with Supplier Management, Supplier Quality,
Patient Device Tracking, Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA),
and Complaint Handling processes and applications.

·         Excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to
bridge communication between technical areas and business areas for a full
and complete understanding of expectations.

·         Ability to multi-task efficiently on parallel efforts.

·         Ability to drive requirements and project work through to closure.

·         Experience in formal design review.

·         Experience in reviewing technical designs, and facilitation or
participating in code reviews - providing feedback on whether the technical
design and code satisfies functional specifications.

·         Training and experience in good test design; experience writing
test cases and reviewing/approving the execution of those test cases.

·         Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse
business environment.

·         Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in
a fast-paced, changing environment.

·         Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.

·         Ability to travel approximately 25%, including internationally in
