Role: IT Infrastructure developer/Analyst Duration: About 24 months Location: Brooklyn, NY Interview: Face to Face ***Only Local Candidates with GC/EAD-GC/USC*** Job Description: Under the direction of the Project Manager and IT Architect, serves as the Infrastructure developer and Analyst contribute to project plans, technical design documentation and quality assurance. When assigned to projects, the IDA fully understands project scope, objectives, and timelines and helps explain them to business staff and systems engineering staff. Infrastructure development work involves technical analysis, systems design, system development and system data collection and integration. Maintenance work involves technical problem resolution, testing and system documentation. Also this position requires deep knowledge and experience with SSIS and Virtualization architecture and SQL Server platform in a large scale environment. Duties and Responsibilities: · Create Integration Service Packages to automate ETL processes. · Monitoring and troubleshooting SQL server agent jobs that execute SSIS packages and Quality assurance that data is loaded in a timely manner daily. · Collect SQL server’s logs using log management tools to analyses and create reports. · Develop and test SSIS Packages from Staging to QA environment. · Performance and tuning of SSIS. · Develop ITIL standard procedure to ensure that Integrity of firm database is maintained. · Ability to create accurate, consistent and user friendly documentation suitable for reuse in multiple applications. Minimum Core Competencies: · Must be proficient in SSIS. · Must be proficient log management tool. · Must have excellent skills in creating SSIS package, troubleshooting and document solutions. · 5 years of satisfactory Infrastructure Developer experience with using infrastructure provisioning tools. · Knowledge in SCCM, SCOM, VCOPS and QUEST implementation and log collections. · Install, configure and deploy and test applications on multiple virtualization environment.. · Manage test facilities, test data repositories and servers supporting virtual machines. · Participate in the design and execution of test plans and investigate customer complaints and work with various teams to improve the performance and document solutions. Preferred: · Bachelor’s degree Computer Science/IT related field. · ITIL Foundational level or higher certification. · Microsoft Certification. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience: · 5-7 year experience with MS-SSIS, Virtualization and Share Point. Deep understanding of relational Oracle DBMS, SQL server and Infrastructure QA and Technical Documentation experience efforts in large scale programs.
