Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest... *Role: Data Modeler with Retail Exp* *6 months to start with extension* *Location: West Chester, PA* *Must have Retail experience.* client has a need for a senior level Data Modeler. *Position Summary:* The successful candidate will create or modify data models. *Required Skills and Experience:* • 5 – 7 years in data modeling experience - at the logical and physical level, with a strong focus on OLTP. Dimensional modeling experience is a plus. • Understanding of normalization of entities and tables; ensure use of proper constraints, naming standards, data types & lengths. • Transform logical data model to physical data model. • Generate DDL from physical data model for database implementation. • Document data mapping - source to target. • Work closely with business analyst(s) and IT resources to decipher business requirements and translate them to a logical data model. • Good communication skills - able to explain and walk through design concepts to various resources (business, application development, management) • Retail experience *Required Technologies:* OLTP RDBMS, Data modeling tools (Erwin 9.5 and Model Mart), Proficient with writing SQL, SQL Tools (AQT, SQL Navigator) *Optional Technologies:* OLAP (Teradata, Netezza), Data warehouse schemas (Star, Snowflake), dimensional data modeling *Deliverables and other requirements:* • Deliver analysis, design, build, and refactoring of conceptual, logical and physical data models as requested by Data architect and/or project team according to project plan • Communicate with project team members to deliver data models to meet data requirements as requested by Data architect and/or project team • Create all documentation and deliverables in accordance with guidelines and standards • Review all relevant documentation to ensure compliance with standards • Attend team meetings as requested • On site - Mon-Fri • Provide weekly status report of progress and hours worked • Record time in time reporting system (EPM) *Thanks and Regards,* *Manu Priya* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *IDC Technologies* *1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116|Milpitas, CA , USA, 95035* *408-459-5794 [Direct] I **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *www.idctechnologies.com* <http://www.idctechnologies.com/> *Note: **Due to high volume of calls, I may miss your call, email is the better way to reach me.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source Erp & Crm" group.
